GOT
DOGS?
You need us! We can
wear out your dog while you wear yourself out at work all day.
That way, you AND your dog are tired at the end of the
day. Your dog will learn how to be a member of a true dog pack
and how to interact nicely with other dogs. Our outside yards
are full of toys, pools, tunnels and playhouses. Inside, your
dog can play in a temperature-controlled environment, complete with
heat and AC and an exhaust vent to keep air fresh at all
times. At 1pm, each dog is placed in their own crate for a
two-hour nap (no visitors 1-3 please). When he wakes up,
he'll be refreshed and ready for round two!
How to get
started:
Call us to schedule a
tour of our facility. We cannot give tours to dog owners who
show-up unannounced as this takes staff away from the dogs and
jeopardizes the safety of other staff and the dogs that are already
here. Tours are given by appointment only.

There are 4 forms that
need to be submitted (click link below). The Veterinary
Authorization Form absolutely must be
filled-out completely by your veterinarian, so please be sure this
is taken care of first. Your dog needs to be current on
Rabies, Distemper and Kennel Cough. Please
check your veterinary records to make sure your dog has had
Kennel Cough, as this is not an
automatic vaccine that your veterinarian gives. If you dog
needs to have the Kennel Cough
vaccine, your dogs cannot attend try-out for at least 7 full days
after date of vaccine. Dogs under 2 years of age should
have their kennel cough vaccine done every 6 months. The
kennel cough vaccine is like the flu shot, it is not 100%
preventative nor is it a YEARLY vaccine. This vaccine only
lasts 4-6 months and we strongly recommend that older dogs
revaccinate every 6 months, just like the puppies.
Once the forms are sent
in, whether by fax, email, postal mail or in person, we will review
them and call you with a date for try-out. We cannot take
last-minute boarding/daycare reservations from non-registered
dogs.
BOARDING SERVICES ARE RESERVED FOR ACTIVE
DAYCARE DOGS ONLY. DOGS MUST ATTEND DAYCARE AT LEAST ONCE A
WEEK TO BOARD AT METROPET.
